Student Grievance Policy
From time to time students may have questions concerning administrative policies or operations. Generally there are logical explanations for situations and usually most questions can be resolved in an informal manner through discussion with the individual or office involved. In instances where a student raises a question about a policy or decision, the affected staff member will respond. If it is not possible to resolve a matter through discussion, a student may appeal for further consideration by voicing the concern to the Dean of Academics.
If the previous steps have failed to resolve the matter to the satisfaction of the student, he or she may appeal in writing to the Grievance Resolution Committee for resolution. The Grievance Resolution Committee will conduct a formal hearing within three (3) working days of receipt of the formal complaint and issue its decision in writing to the student within three (3) working days of the formal hearing.
